The Congo Forest Basin Partnership has been launched at the Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in 2002. As a type II partnership (non-binding) it is based on a voluntary agreement between governments, the private sector, civil society and development organisations. Today, the partnership comprises more than 40 members working together for a common objective
