Inter-regional workshop: forest dialogue and forest policies harmonisation (COMIFAC/FAO, Douala)

The inter-regional workshop on " Forest Dialogue and Harmonisation of Forest Policies in the sub-regions of Central Africa, West Africa and Central America: experiences and lessons learned" will be organised by COMIFAC and FAO, in collaboration with the Cameroon government and CBFP. It addresses participants from different institutions and actors from all the three sub-regions concerned.

The workshop's objective is to (i) make an update and to make use of the sub-regional experiences, and to (ii) promote exchange in terms of forest dialogue and harmonisation of forest policies between the sub-regions concerned. 

The event will take place at the Hotel SAWA, based in the Douala business district, from May 14th to 16th. Working languages will be French and Spanish. However, an English translation service will be provided.
