COP9: COMIFAC Side Event (Bonn, SE COMIFAC and German Facilitation)

The side event (n° 199) comprises a series of fours presentations putting forward (i) regional approches in biodiversity preservation, (ii) the intiative "access and sharing of benefits derived from the exploitation of genetic resources (APA) in Central Africa, (iii) the TNS foundation experience in Central Africa and (iv) case studies about protected sites in Gabon and DRC.

The presentations will be delivered by representatives of the COMIFAC Executive Secretariat and the German Facilitation of the Congo Basin Forest Partnership (CBFP), the TNS Foundation and WWF Central Africa, and will be followed by discussions. 

The event will be organised by the SE COMIFAC and the German Facilitation CBFP. It will be held at the Planck Hall of the Hotel Maritim.
